OStar was created around a simple idea: travelling through China should feel personal, even when the logistics behind it are complex.
I work directly with travellers to understand what they actually want from China, then coordinate with local partners to turn those ideas into a journey that works in real life.
For me, good planning isn't about fitting more places into a schedule. It's about making the whole journey feel right for the people taking it.

Yes. OStar specialises in private journeys for you and the people you choose to travel with. We do not combine unrelated travellers into fixed group tours.
Are your itineraries fixed packages?

No. The journeys shown on our website are designed to give you inspiration and a sense of what is possible. They can be adapted or redesigned around your dates, interests, pace and travel preferences.
How much does a private trip to China cost?

The cost depends on the length of your journey, group size, accommodation level, destinations, transport, guide requirements and selected experiences. After learning how you want to travel, we can provide an indicative range before detailed planning begins.
How far in advance should I start planning my trip to China?

For most private journeys, starting several months ahead gives you more choice and time to refine the itinerary. For peak travel periods, larger groups or trips requiring specific hotels and experiences, earlier planning is recommended.
Can you provide a guide who speaks my language?
